On Tuesday, the hospitality tech platform OYO announced the relaunch of its self-operated hotels, now branded as ‘Managed by OYO. ‘These hotels can be booked through the company’s app and website, and OYO is actively seeking partnerships with real estate developers to identify suitable properties for this initiative.
Under this renewed program, OYO plans to secure annual to long-term management contracts on a revenue-sharing basis for 200 premium hotels across major Indian metros.
The company aims to provide its top hotel operators with the opportunity to leverage their expertise in maintaining operational excellence and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
It’s noteworthy that OYO had temporarily suspended its self-operated hotel model in 2020, just before the onset of the first wave of COVID-19.
After a hiatus of three years, the company is now restarting and venturing into this domain once again
