He never worked as an employee before joining Paytm. Paytm was his first job. Before that, he was involved in handling multiple startups. In fact, he was always very clear that he will begin his career with a startup. So he started building his startup, called SKJ technologies in 2003, 6 months before completing his CA. He was one of the first entrepreneurs in India who started Mobile App Development.
His association with Paytm also started as a consultant. Then, in 2018, it formalized into a fulltime job. So, Paytm was his first official job.
Initially, he was a bit skeptical about joining Paytm full-time because he had always been an entrepreneur. So, his journey with Paytm began as a consultant. However, after 5-6 months, he saw that the work culture at Paytm is very good.
He says One of the main things for a successful career is self-learning. These days things change at a fast rate, and you must stay up-to-date with the latest happenings in your field. So, always focus on learning new things. So go ahead and build new things and learn from your experiences.
